Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – dentsu Malaysia has appointed Nick Drew as managing partner, data & tech, expanding its leadership in data, technology and media integration.

In his new role, Drew will lead dentsu Malaysia’s Data & Tech practice, with a focus on strengthening integrated data, technology and media solutions aimed at delivering measurable business outcomes for clients. He will report to Bala Pomaleh, CEO, Media, dentsu Malaysia.

Drew brings more than 25 years of experience in the digital industry, with a background spanning data strategy, marketing technology, media platforms and digital acceleration across regional and global markets. His experience includes building and managing strategic partnerships across platforms, publishers and technology partners, as well as working across the media and advertising technology stack, including data activation, audience strategy and performance optimisation.

Prior to joining dentsu Malaysia, Drew spent close to a decade at Google Malaysia, where he served as Sector Lead and Agency Lead, focusing on platform strategy, data-driven growth and large-scale digital ecosystems. He has also held the role of Managing Director at Starcom, overseeing integrated media, data and technology operations across complex client portfolios.
